Hey man, you do whatever you gotta do to get the job done and get your rig rolling. I think it looks awesome and you did a good job. Keep saving up and then do your upgrades as they come. +1

Man, all GPU prices are so bad right now. It drives me crazy! I want to upgrade my 1060 but at this point it would be like shooting yourself in the foot.

How does that case feel to you? I read reviews saying it felt cheap. I really want a case like that so that I can mount a rad on the bottom and on the front. Just wanted to hear your opinion before I make a move. Thanks a bunch. Can’t wait to see you water cool the SLI. Im jealous.

My friend needed a mobo and I felt like upgrading. This also gave me the chance to get a mobo with an rgb header so I could bring in those rgb fan frames since they need a header to operate with the aura software. Definitely an awesome case, I really appreciate Phanteks and wish they would come out with more stuff. Thanks for checking it out!

Is your 1060 quiet? Because mine sure as heck is not. If it is quiet, what settings do you have it on? I can always tell when mine starts to get hot because those fans get loud!

I feel like if it was some sort of metal and not wood, it would act like a big heat sink, giving you better temps with that fin like design. Just a random thought. It’s still awesome. +1

Does that case come with the white shroud or did you paint it yourself? I plan on painting mine white to go along with the theme. +1

I think you are going in the right direction but I will say that with a little bit of effort you can make the interior very clean if you tuck some of those wires and mount that hard drive. Also post a pic of your build with your graphics card in there :P

Man I would love to have a backplate like that! Are you willing to make one and sell it? I have the same GPU. Also what type of cable combs are those? Are those the type where you have to take the wires out of the connectors to put them on? Great build man. I too love the mostly white. My build is currently tuxedo but I am working to make it more white. Awesome job on your build nonetheless.

Edit: Sorry not the same GPU, I have a 1060 6gb but its similar in looks though!

So they only have an on/low/high option for the fan speed. I keep mine on high and it doesnt really bother me at all. They are pretty quiet. I just wish I could adjust the speed on them in my bios and not by pressing the button that comes with them.

My CPU would go up to the 70s as well Now it stays within 45-51C on a full load.

Wow. I had absolutely no idea and now that I think about it, I realize that I did not really look into the reviews on that cooler. I guess I got lucky? I really wish NZXT would make a nice full white liquid cooler with the customizable RGB pump. I would buy that thing in a heartbeat. Thanks for the +1!

I took a look at your build and it is awesome. I wanted to do a full out white everything but I have a kid running around the house and I was afraid to come home and find cheeto hand prints or paint marks all over my desktop. I love my tuxedo build but man that full white is soooo nice. I gave you an upvote :D

Thank you

I front mounted my radiator and put fans on both sides of it so that one side can push air through it and the other side will pull air through it. Look it up, you will see what I mean.
