About ReDnAx1991

Hi!

My name is Alexander Koelewijn, I am 23 years old and I live in the Netherlands.

At the moment I work for Shell Global Solutions in the catalyst department, I have my degree in Organical Chemistry (better known as Carbon Chemistry).

Many of my comments in the forums are going to have a chemical background, recently I did a study on how SSD's and any other flash drive saves its data (as this is a chemical/physical reaction).

Just like my interest in chemistry I share a great amount of interest into computers, I already started experimenting with computers at the age of 7. We had an old MS-DOS PC laying around, so I asked my father if he would mind me taking apart that PC (I was curious what it would look like from the inside). He told me to do with it what ever I wanted and that is how my interest/hobby was born.

As I became older I had the urge to know as much about computers as possible, chemistry is a bit hard to practice/perform around the house so I invested a lot of my time into taking apart of the individual components (such as DVD drives). Soon my family would notice my skill and now I am the family computer repair guy, well isn't that just great. Nah! I don't mind I love to take computers apart and try to find out what is wrong with the thing.

To sum things up, I have a vast interest in chemistry and computers. If you ever have a question about one of these two subjects, be my guest and ask whatever you like to.
