It's not grey... the glass is tinted so it makes it look grey.

To fit the CPU coolers radiator... that's a big boy.

It works pretty well. There are definitely better options out there. This one just worked for me.

This is just a guess, but I think the Kraken hoses are longer than most AIO coolers (Corsairs). I've seen builds in this case and with that cooler that puts the hoses directly on the GPU back plate and causes it to sag when using that slot.

No, it doesn't come with that board... or at least it didn't for mine. My only complaint about that MOBO is it had NOTHING in it but the MOBO.

I would like to know where he got it, though.

Likewise. I've had it in my build for about a month and my O.S. and the few games I have on it boot really fast. I haven't bench marked it, but it seems good to me.

Yeah, worked for me. Plus Link provides other worthwhile info, so might as well have it up. Have you installed the start shell? I'd recommend that if you are new to 8.1. It gives you the start button from Win7 and w/ link running in the background you can quickly check temps.

You can find it @ ClassicShell.net.

+1 I really liked what you did with the Corsair Link cable.

Also, I have the same cooler on 8.1 and just the other day and all of the sudden the Link popped up (I have had my build together for just over a week). I am not sure if it was an update... but I can now see my pump, fans, LED etc.

Very nice! I would worry about those cords coming over the back of the motherboard, though. Why did you go for 2 SSD's? Why not one w/ a mechanical drive? +1

Thanks! Cable management ended up being a lot more difficult than I imagined. I got a touch lazy towards the end, but was able to easily get the back piece on with no issues after tidying it up a bit.

Why did you move the hoses for the H100i back across the CPU and to the back? Seems like most builds I've seen move the hoses over the RAM. I do not know if this is aesthetic or if it serves some purpose?

Sevin's Completed Build: Black and White Money Pit

RunninUte 1 Build 1 point 47 months ago

Very nice! Are you OC this?

Forum Topic "First time builder, long time listener."

RunninUte submitter 1 Build 1 point 47 months ago

Aesthetics I suppose. I know that is frivolous, but I am okay with spending an extra $40 for that case.

Forum Topic "First time builder, long time listener."

RunninUte submitter 1 Build 1 point 47 months ago

That makes total sense. I think I got carried away. That seems really easy to do here!

Is there a difference in capability with a single 8G stick over 2x4G sticks?

Thanks Supersmurf. I honestly didn't know what OEM meant! Haha.
