you can change the colors, there is no preset
please let me know if you figure something out
I recently put 2 1500 rpm fans one intake and one exhaust and set them both to full speed through the bios and noticed better temps
Hi, mounting the fans on the outside of the case causes a lot of noise and it gets pretty annoying. I would try both and see what you like best. I have recently turned off my top fans. This case has terrible airflow. My cooler doesn't keep my cpu cool and my gpu reaches 80 degrees at times. I would go with a liquid cooler. 120mm would do fine
Based on my experience, I wouldn't go for it. Although I do think its possible and it will be difficult. If you get a full size atx board it probably wont be as difficult.
Its called the geeekpie, here is where I got it:
It is an HDMI connection for display, but a mini usb for power.
The ssd is sweet! Tforce delta, should be pretty cheap now, I have the 500gb black
The case comes with the two rgb fans in the front that connect via Molex. The one chassis fan connects via 4 pin. So I added the top 2, and then also added two more rgb fans for the inside totally to 6 fans. I purchased a fan hub separately and plugged 3 of the 6 fans into it.
I see a problem...I see some unoccupied ram slots...
See now I wanted to buy those, but I'm just afraid that the colors wouldn't totally match the colors that I have for all of my cooler master products. My next build I plan on using all corsair ! Although I really do love the look of the cooler master case that I have...
Yeah its done by the keys FN(F1,F2,F3,F4,F5,F6,F7) each do different things. I do love the keyboard, but it would be much better If it could sync with asus rgb software. I would go that route ! And thanks! might add an rgb strip not sure how I feel about it yet.
ill make It tomorrow
alright give me a day or two and I will send a link or email??
So I think the case is what plays the part in the noise or not. Here is why, in my Q300p case, I have 2 of the fans in the top of the case and the airflow or area for the air to escape is very very limited. Every time the fans increase in speed or warm up, they are noticeably loud and kind of annoying. The rear exhaust fan even at max speed doesn't make noise that will drive you crazy.. hence the airflow is a lot more open. So I think it depends on your case really. If you have good airflow then the noise wont be obnoxious. I can make a video if you would like.
Well when you are in the full 2560 x 1080, does the picture look good? A 34 inch will have less density compared to 29 inch. But if you walked into the room and looked at the screen, would you think like "wow that's a nice picture" ??
How is that monitor at 1080p? This one is like 50 bucks cheaper than the LG. Can it be oc to 75hz?
Hi, this is NZXT cam, its free!
Agreed! nice builds
Here are the shelves, they can be bought in-store where the picture frames are. I used 3M double sided wall tape to hang them.
I did just put this together and have only played fortnite so far. Temps for the cpu haven't passed 55. It does keep it cool and there is some noise, but not unbearable. Around the holidays when I have the time to play more intense games, I imagine this will not be the best cooler. Looks nice, but not the best. I will probably move to a aio as well, the airflow in this case also is an issue and doesn't help. I didn't think I would need to since it was a locked processor, but 8th gen runs pretty hot.
they are both the same fans. would you recommend molex, or a fan hub such as this? https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-System-Cables-Black-CPF04/dp/B00VNW556I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1539732730&sr=8-3&keywords=fan+hub
Alright thank you!
Well I definitely will not be gaming non stop my friend, maybe a longer day here and there and definitely wont be playing games everyday. I'm finishing college this semester and will become a productive member of society ! With that being said, if I need to, I can always buy a different case again. Do you think I will be okay with this product? If so, would you recommend the cooler master 120 liquid or 240? or just an air cooler like the ufo looking one?? thanks for the responses btw!
this would be my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ryXGV6
Its such an attractive case that I wouldn't mind the little work needed. But, I have 2 sticks of rgb ram, rgb ssd, i7 8700 and 1050ti might move to a 1060. If I mount 2 exhaust fans on the top at 1400rpm and one in the rear at 1400 rpm, as well as a 120mm aio cooler, do you think I would be fine?
How is the case? I hear the airflow is a problem and the stock fans are noisy???
Does this have a 12v rgb header??
Does this have a 12 rgb header??
Are the included case fans RGB?
I used the warranty, it costed me over 30 dollars to ship for RMA...I read that the BQ models aren't made well either. So I figured that the BQ would end up going again..so I sold it for 30 and made the money back and want to put it towards something of higher quality and reliable.
Also, New jersey.. microcenter in Philly is the best store around here.
Basically I just do not want another power supply to randomly die and or take my system with it.
Specs are i7 8700, 16gb trident z rgb ram 3200mhz, tforce rgb ssd, gtx 1050ti. z370p d3 mobo. No overclocking on anything. Largest upgrade would be a new cpu cooler and maybe a 1060 6gb. budget is about 80 bucks.
What about the A8-9600 and an am4 board vs the pentium gold?
That is sick! Can you link the desk??
Hi, I got this fan linked below. I only needed one. The case uses 120mm. And let me know if you have any questions!
You are not able to turn them off sadly, but these fans are cheap and if you go with this case, Id buy one extra fan to mount at the top of the case because the included fans do not move much air. I noticed heat coming from the vents in the front. Ever since I installed an extra fan on top the air is always cool. If you need me to link the fan, and or the fans equivalent to this case, just let me know.
Hmmm, this desk is pretty old maybe 3 years? However, this desk I linked is almost exactly identical and the same price if I remember.
Wow this sort of relieves the stress. Very weird indeed. I remember before about 2 weeks ago when I built it, it wouldn't pass about 2000 at idle. Very very weird. By the way, nice builds!
Alright thanks! It's just weird, I don't remember it going above maybe 1700 while at idle. Just making me nervous. I don't want anything bad to happen
I'm using CAM from next. I also don't remember it doing this before to be honest. Is it possible I may have altered something in the bios while adjusting my fans ? It's a gigabyte mobo
Thank you! and I feel really good about building it
Thanks! I doubt newegg will let me return now. Its been a month. I just put the PC together a few days ago -_-
