You would think if you were just gonna troll that you wouldn't post pictures of 5 different PC's as if they were the same one.
Always makes me laugh when I see liquid cooled RAM, but the extra petg filling out the length of the desk compliments the setup extremely well. Nicely done!
It's not any more or less popular. It's the 7th gen version of the exact same cpu. There isn't really a noticeable difference on clock rates between them. The only reason why it would have made more sense to go with the 7700k is because he already has a Z270 mobo. He could have stuck with it just due to finding a good deal on it though.
Beautiful build. Needs some custom cables to compliment it.
Titan RGB but has no Titan?
Nice build. Looks very clean.
Like a $4500 setup and it's sitting on the floor? lol.
Cables and ti's look great, just need a nice SLI Bridge to match.
Out of curiosity, what speakers are those? I love the volume controller.
I personally wrapped the excess wires around the CPU block before running them up the back of the motherboard, and I mounted the Radiator up top to cover the cpu power cable and all the AIO cables. You could also just get some top mount fans that would achieve the same effect I imagine.
For what you use this for, you would have been better off with the new Pentium G4560 and a Video card for a very similar price. Congrats on the build regardless!
Appreciate the attention to detail. I just happened to take a gander at your submission. It would seem as though you built my pcs big brother. Quite literally 1upped me on every part including the monitor :p
You did a great job on the cable management though as well. Love the look of the Evolv glass builds just didn't want something so fragile for myself.
Stupid GoPro stills :(
Both RAID. I plan to be adding a Samsung 850 1tb in the near future as well. This build was mainly done on a budget with the intentions of growing it in the future, so not everything is quite where I want it yet.
Ty :) I actually cleaned it up a little since that photo was taken and it now has 2x SSDs side by side on the back.
2-3 of the photos were. I deleted all the rest, and will never attempt to use the GoPro for stills ever again lol.
He didn't get the 1080 @ the 1k price point. He stated that he purchased it last year so he didn't display the value here, but I'm sure the actual cost for this build is around $1700.
They don't have Z170 series for AMD CPUS. He would have to replace his CPU, Mobo, and Ram to go that route. May as well just build new computer at that point. I've used this motherboard in the past paired with an FX-8350 and had no problems with it for a budget build.
