Agreed. Always curious why a $1881 pc doesn't have intel
Probably should invest in not being lazy. Just saying.
So, you play games on your stove with latex gloves? :)
what's your overall in/out setup of fans (specifically the front)? seems like you're either blowing a bunch of hot air in with the positive pressure on basic components or have a neutral pressure but not getting cool air through the front aio. (or just overall negative pressure - tsk tsk)
one of the most beautiful things i've seen in my life. good job sir
Couldn't get past the title before I was ready to hunt you down. Not kidding. Wouldn't even look at your machine.
I'm on pcpp almost every day and rarely comment anymore. But I gotta say that machine is beautiful. Nice work my friend, so I gotta ask...can i borrow it?
Is it just me or is your gpu sagging? No bueno mi amigo.
Its not the modular part of it but rather the fact that it's the cx line. Get rid of it asap before it damages the rest of ur build:)
You should make her periodically take her machine apart and put it together again, including testing, etc. and she would definitely learn more than ANY kid her age. She'd be a superstar.
Seems awfully defensive here. I'm so sure it's real I'm declaring myself the pope
Kinda what I was wondering. Like when people say "13yo build". Actually annoying and like they're trying to prove something. No offense Angelo but change it. I'm a Mensa certified genius physicist (first time actually mentioned on here) but so what
I was actually going to comment on how ugly I think this case is. To each their own opinion tho
A couple parts im questioning... Like 112 bucks for an air cooler? And ...
+1 for the cute dog
PSU PSU PSU PSU PSU PSU!!!! lol. Relax man
Aww man a Plano kid. Looking for a pic of a clean build, but think maybe some cable management may be in order. Nice rig tho
If they're hidden then yes on Noctua. If you can see 'em avoid at all costs. Ugly as dirt
Haven't done video editing on it but works great for the price on other applications I've used
I do have a ssd in there. Just not on the price list
Had a corsair spec-03 before. Didn't really put much thought into that choice
You oc that spaghetti monster with a reportedly $1100 cpu yet?
The x4 860k is definitely an underrated cpu (I'm not the only one to say this just since I have one). It'll oc nicely with a basic aftermarket cooler (like a CM 212 EVO for $20), and runs games great with decent gpu
Don't listen to those temps usually with your athlon. Use amd overdrive and it'll give you a thermal margin instead. Those programs haven't worked well for me and most others.
Tbh i haven't seen that cooler before. Is that a small reservoir built into it or what's happening there? Little disco party going on in there? Nice build
tiny is 23? here i've been picturing you 40yo scruffy electrician all this time. (i guess you could still be scruffy)
If he does, though, I'd get some sort of cooler, not the good-fun-time stock unit
Great parts and very clean. Nice+1
A couple things. Get rid of that cx psu. No Bueno. Slap some sort of cooler on that cpu. Doubt if it's raising your room temp by itself but if it's hot in there with an amd processor I'd be careful. Do some stress testing with prime95 and amd overdrive to see what your thermal margin is and see the doctor in the morning
Don't be scairt. OC that mutha now now now:) **Edit: nvm just saw you have a h97 mobo. Why?
You might wanna look up to make sure putting your gpu in slot 2 isn't limiting its pcie lane bandwidth. Doubt it would make a difference but I'm just typing here. Like most of it tho
Really? Have you seen the difference in gaming for a pro version ssd in gaming? And what game in this century so far would need 32 gb of ram? 16 is about twice as much as he requires for a gaming rig, which is what this is.
Nice build man +1
Nice parts and clean work. I approve. Now you can sleep at night
Even in tough times u gotta game one way or another
Just a heads up, you're about to get it about that CX psu. Bad idea. Looks like you've got good price/performance overall which is what I love, but I'd swap out that psu asap if possible.
No real need to comment more on doing sli 960. Do your homework first before you brag too much.
You'll hear enough about that psu. Anyway...
Love my 860k budget build and sure you will too. Oc that guy with your hyper 212 Evo and be merry;)
Any benchmarks yet on temps with sli Titan x's in there?
Congrats on being awesome... Again
Truly a spectacular machine... again. Your aion line is one serious mutha. Congrats!
Looks like you did your homework except for the all-important power supply. It really needs to go (sorry to repeat others' comments), but nice otherwise
Guess I didn't pay attention there. That's a bit better then
Nice build, but I personally couldn't justify a $420 computer case that looks like $100. Ouch. +1
Wow. I can feel its power from here
Wow you've done it again with the aion line. Once again truly amazing! Congrats
Bwahaha with a diving board on the end
Wow that case is huge. Any plans what you're gonna do with the other half? :)
Absolutely even if you got a cheap 120 gb ssd for windows and basic programs it's worth it
Pretty much what I thought. I probably would've bypassed the m.2 for another equally capable sata ssd but I don't imagine he's exactly suffering
