hisperati's Completed Build: Zen Minimal Build

TheQuackSavior -2 points 1 month ago

My lord, I'm afraid that the GTX 1080 will bottleneck the hell out of that 2200G.

Also, 32GB of RAM? Isn't that too overkill.

ShibiWAN's Completed Build: Budget Ryzen 2200G gaming build

TheQuackSavior 1 point 1 month ago

16GB dual channel is fine though, since Ryzen doesn't like running 4 DiMMs at stable speed.

vinnie4k's Completed Build: NEW AMD BUDGET BUILD <$700

TheQuackSavior 2 points 1 month ago

If I were you I'd rather go with 2x8GB as Ryzen does not like running 4x4GB at stable speed. Good build though.

ShibiWAN's Completed Build: Budget Ryzen 2200G gaming build

TheQuackSavior 1 point 2 months ago

Hey, I wonder if you plan to upgrade to 16GB in the future.

Other than that, this is a good build. Nice job.

manirelli's Build Guide: Budget Home/Office Build

TheQuackSavior 0 points 2 months ago

probably low 720p... maybe.

tipsypig's Completed Build: Mars v1.0

TheQuackSavior 1 point 2 months ago

Well, you'd far better off getting 1x8GB since currently Ryzen doesn't like running RAM at full speed with 4 DiMMs.

Here's a (late) reminder: Ryzen doesn't like 4 sticks of RAM. Just saying.

Fanjist's Completed Build: My Under $400 PC build That Can Kidna Play Games

TheQuackSavior 3 points 4 months ago

Dude, that mobo only has two DIMM slots. And I think he's probably going to upgrade to 16GB if he wishes.

Jonall2010's Completed Build: lil' Ryzen Gamer that could

TheQuackSavior 1 point 5 months ago

I have a question: -Why did you get 4 x 4GB of RAM? (since I heard that first-gen Ryzen does not allow RAM to run at full speed with four sticks of RAM installed)

By the way, it's a quite good build. Though you'd far better off getting a better PSU.

shawdaddy12's Completed Build: "CyberPower Shill" AKA Goldilocks

TheQuackSavior 1 point 5 months ago

What's with err... trollface sticker on the case?

Nice build, though.

ImPickleRick's Completed Build: Scap Yard Build V2

TheQuackSavior 1 point 5 months ago

You'd far better off getting a better PSU, since I heard that the TR2 series is well... worst-tier PSU.

mvitello20's Completed Build: Ryzen Up (Vera)

For sure!

toronado282's Completed Build: 2016 Budget Gaming Rig - Upgraded

TheQuackSavior 3 points 10 months ago

I'd far better off getting 1x8GB though, as currently (non-Raven Ridge) Ryzen does not allow RAM to work at high speeds with 4 sticks of RAM installed, and with 8GB the assumption is you will eventually be upgrading to 16GB.

esojsounds's Completed Build: Fun in White
