it's so nice to see xeon builds.
How is that Pump/Res mounted? I can't really tell. It's something I don't think I've actually seen before. either way excellent build. very well done. you have some really clean tube runs.
please stop, I can only get so errect. +1
NZXT released a special line of S340 and H440 cases that were painted after a CS:GO skin, called the hyperbeast. It's a limited production, and only 1337 were made.
I like your username more than the actual build haha.
I can only get so erect. please. take my +1.
So what has your gaming experience been like so far?
not a fan of the whole bragging vibe you got going on, but congratulations on the upgrade. Also, being 13 doesn't matter, just focus on the achievement that you have done, which is build a very nice PC that'll last you for quite a few years down the road.
Excellent to know, thank you!
Is that a HB SLI bridge? if not, should pick one up for sure.
how is the build quality on the barrow stuff? I am interested in them for the future, as I have heard they are pretty much unbranded bitspower fittings. Do you think they will hold up over time?
As for the design mini, I would take one over the Ncase any day. The bitFenix Portal is a gimmick, and has quite a few issues that I won't go into. And the build quality IS superior. It's all metal, and made in the Lian Li Factory, and we all know how their build quality is. There are a lot of cases on the market that are much more expensive that people still buy. Take for example CaseLabs. I think they are a great line of cases, but I could never justify spending $500 on a case.
it's one of the smallest cases you can get on the market, has great acoustic levels, cooling, and It has fantastic build quality. they are great for watercooling as well.
can we get pictures of the full build from a side view and exterior case pictures?
Is the fan on the GPU able to be removed? I know it's a reference card, so I thought without the stock cooler and a waterblock on it, it would be a very short card, which would be great for ITX builds.
sorry, its a really bad joke lol.
go with a cablemod extention set. I have them in my build, and have had them for awhile and they are still as clean as I got them. very easy to train them into where you want them to go.
does that speaker setup go up to 11? nice build man!
did not notice I typed it wrong my bad :P
the FX line has never been all that good, and before you flame me I have a fx 6300 OC to 4.5Ghz. it's just a simple fact that it's 6 year old architecture, and was focused more on the core count than ICP.
it's...a crime against humanity. it needs to be burned. which the molex will solve that for him.
is...is that molex going to the 6 pin on the GPU????
I love small builds like this.
so two EVGA badges, one nzxt, and a deepcool case. I think it is having an identity crisis right now :P
it was very cool to make it with my friend, and as an added bonus, it helped steer the theme of my build with the blue/white/back.
already have some nice cables from cablemod, but thanks for the info :)
did you end up getting your cables from ensourced? he makes great cables.
it's a shame that EK only made 50 of the Vulture cases. I would rather get the original than a knock off case like this. it promotes bad behavior. Thermaltake seemingly knocks off a lot of case designs, like caselabs,Corsair, and others. kind of embarrassing for a company, not being able to come up with anything original.
Never the less, great build.
That bend going to the pump to the GPU is bugging me.... A LOT
2nd sentence in the description bro. besides, the 980ti performs very similar to a 1070. Only reason I would choose one over the other is the 1070 requires less power, and outputs less heat. still $100 more for a 1070 than a 980ti though.
1440p on a 280x? I think somebody is lying :P. or are you turning down the settings at 1440p?
All I had to do was boost the voltage to 1.304 and change the multiplier to (I think) 23.5 or something similar. if you want, you could use the OC genie in the BIOS. It got a overclock pretty close to my manual one, so give that a shot.
Im not sure what you are trying to ask by what my settings were. are you asking about the overclock?
congrats on the build and the feature jipster, you truly are a vital member to the PCPP community. Easiest +1 I have ever given.
Read the 4th paragraph.
the graphics card is perfect for this build my man, it matches so well with the overall theme, and that motherboard. easy +1 for sure!
EDIT: what is that on the PSU shroud? just a mirror? it works really well, and its pretty hard to spot at first, it blends in so nicely.
wow I don't think I have ever seen that CPU cooler before, +1 on originality, and pretty good overall part choices.
I had the same processor and GPU for one of my very first builds, good choice! I can't wait till zen comes out, mostly to see price/performance to see if its worth it, or to go skylake.
The NZXT s340 has to be one of the top budget cases out there that makes builds look great effortlessly.
'course, I could be a little biased :)
very nice, some more cable management could go a long way towards looks, and some sleeved cables would help give it some pop!
Do I even bother looking at the build before I +1? Always wonderful builds from you!
EDIT: you guys sure love InWin Cases :P
yeeeessssss feed my liquid cooling addiction. so many beautiful loops being posted today, I have truly been blessed. +1 easy.
He has posted this exact version twice so far. literally there were no changes, it had the flat res' already.
I'm getting tired of seeing this build reposted all the time dude. I have seen it at least 5 times or something.
hope you reversed that back fan so it exhausts.
you got a damn good overclock on that CPU for being on air my brother.
He worded it poorly, but he spent $676 on the PC, including windows 10. He spent more on peripherals which made the price $882
I got no love for my fx-6300 :( for some reason people thought I was going to bottleneck my rx 470 with it haha.
