this board has a list of it's supported ram and the speeds. my g.skill ram is on the list at 2999mhz even though my ram is 3200mhz ram. works great though. but the board isn't all that bad. hopefully this helped.

i went with what best buy had at the time. but i also wanted IPS and HDR with a sleek bezel. i don't regret it. and at the time i only spent 170 on the monitor.

The board, ram and processor were on sale on newegg at the time. The board was 90 and then it was on sale for 80 and then it had a rebate on top of that. The build originally had a 16gb kit of corsair vengeance 3000mhz, but i had to send it back because one of the sticks were bad and were making it blue screen. Then i got a 16gb kit of g.skill 3200mhz for 10 dollars cheaper somehow.

I have the same ram on an ASRock B350 Pro4 motherboard like you, and i can't seem to get the speed over 2400mhz. Very annoying. Hope they release another BIOS update soon.

FYI: You can move the hard drive mounting cages so that the fans on the cages take air from the front. it's a feature of the case.
