+1 ALREADY FOR THAT CABLE MANAGEMENT, the Core V1, I must admit, is a ***** to cable manage with, but gratz on getting it clean looking. I must admit, I love the hell out of these SFF powerful builds, and having that 8700k overclocked to 5.2GHz is ******* mental, how does your CPU even manage 53 degrees under load with a H80i? My hat is ******* tipped to you, man. Have fun with that beast of a PC.
Very nice cable management, I must admit. The NH-U9S is undoubtedly the best choice for a cooler in this case, so +1 for that already. Personally I would upgrade that power supply though, the Corsair CXM isn't the best power supply for a build like yours, especially running that GTX 1060 and Ryzen 3. I'd personally say for an upgrade, consider getting 16GB RAM and maybe a Ryzen 5, but you will definitely need a new power supply for that. GL with cleaning that Core V1 by the way, mine is LITERALLY JUST DUST AT THIS POINT. +1 for the insane cable management in that case and the cooler.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) nice ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This cable management makes me so happy, just the attention to detail on this build is fantastic. And the back of the case is so well managed, it's just so nice! As Lyrix said though, the RAM doesn't fit with the rest of the build but you could easily just spraypaint the heatsink. Also I'm kinda triggered by the fact that you have a V300 SSD, because they're not very reliable, but eh, your choice.+1 from me.
Ah ok, maybe consider a Quadro M6000, because why the **** not? lol
In truth though, maybe have a look at a cheap Quadro, you never know, you might get into GPU-intensive tasks one day.
Alright calm down
Ah ok, thanks.
Nice, have fun with it.
True, are there even any major differences between 1070's and 1080's?
Ah ok, sorry about the build. Good luck with trying to fix it, I'm sure it'll pay out in the end.
Ah ok, enjoy the 1070, I'm sure you're enjoyed the heck out of it. GG
Agreeable, but a lot of games with mods probably take more RAM than mine craft.
nice avatar lmao
What is it with everyone building with 1070's? Im so confused, but extremely good job on the build, that cable management is on point. Good job, +1 from me.
Nice name, but I doubt that the R7 250 will crush peasants, my 750 Ti performs better. A bit overkill on the RAM, but who honestly cares? +1 from me, good job.
Yea, didn't realise when commenting.
Ah ok, your decision.
What is necro?
Lmao we are very late
Sorry, spelling mistake I meant 240mm or bigger
Didn't realise sorry
Am i late to the party? lol
just deal with it
Your firestrike score says the driver was not approved, maybe look into that. Could also be that your hard drives are slowing up the system as they're practically full. i dunno +1 anyway
U wot m8 please don't get to 10000 comments I don't wanna see you go :( :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
I am confused as well lol
980ti's could be better for the moment, as there aren't many non-reference 1080's on the UK market at the moment, but his decision. I could be completely wrong :P
And yes, the SSD's are just overkill af.
WE NEED MORE PICTURES
Bloody hell I'm suprised you fit the 1080 in there, let alone the whole system. The V1 has some great potential for a small form factor powerhouse, and it shows here. It's a shame you can't mount a liquid cooler bigger than 240mm, but that Frio cooler should do a great job.
As Iron_Knickers has already mentioned, the PSU is completely overkill, but could be good if you plan to upgrade to a Broadwell-EP CPU such as the 6800K. The 32GBs of RAM is just plain stupid, but amazing at the same time. Great job on your build, easily one of the best Core V1 and GTX 1080 builds. +1 From me.
I'm very suprised you chose the H60 to cool the 5930K, as overclocking that with a decent cooler (maybe a H100i or better) would be beast, but your choice. You went completely overkill on the GPUs, but whatever. It's a shame you're only using two monitors with the graphics cards, but again, your choice. That EVGA SuperNOVA 1600W is completely overkill, but who doesn't love overkill? Great job on the build, enjoy! +1 from me.
****** beautiful, although i find the V300 series to be unreliable (apart from the business series). The case was a great choice, Deepcool did a great job on that. I'm really suprised that you chose to run the H110I Pro, as I would've got a better motherboard to overclock the heck out of the 6600k, but your choice. Watercooling is very expensive, but in a case like that, totally worth it. Sick build Gr8 job i r8 8/8. Easily +1.
dank g3258, you gonna overclock at all? I'd get a 212 evo or a H55 if so. Nice HTPC.
Alright, thanks for the reply.
good job, may I ask how the founders edition runs under load, and what are the temps like with the card? I presume they may be might hot, because they run off a stock cooler.
One of the cleanest builds if ever seen. +1 from me.
OH GOD NO I WATCHED A LIVE STREAM OF THIS GAME AND IT SCARRED ME FOR LIFE!
Lol does anyone else watch Lost Pause?
REPLACE THE PSU ASAP
Straight thumbs up from me. +1 truly deserved.
Sorry to be a heckler, but replace that CX PSU ASAP. Even if your system only draws 200 watts less than the psu can provide under load, I would strongly advise against running that PSU unless (and I mean it) your system is under a light load. It's very strange how Corsair designed the CX750's internals compared to a CX430, as the CX750 is worse than the 430. I would strongly recommend any EVGA G2,B2,S2 or P2 psu, but if you're on a budget, XFX XTR's are always a good option.
Thans for corrections again, I'm such an idiot at times lol
Oh crap, just realised I got mixed up. But I can still say tgat the 380 beasts the 960 for the same price point, and the 390 beats the 970 easily. Thanks for the corrections.
Do you know what, I actually think AMD have found their sucker punch to Nvidia, as the 380 is cheaper than the 970 and, in some cases, beats it in certain titles. All that for about £100 cheaper (comparing the msi offerings as they don't adjust prices as much as others IMO) and it has the 4 full Gigabytes of GDDR5. Good job amd.
