he did not need a fancy case that is worth 150$ nor a 4tb hard drive that casts about the same of the gpu nor did he need 16gb of ram, nor did he need an i7 i don't think your friend is a content creator so most of these parts you chose probably wont benefit him, all in all you could have saved over 400$ that you could invested on a better gpu, and or cooler

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PN2rt6 asfar as the pc goes this is probably the best you can get for your preferences as far as os there is a way you can get it for 20$ not a bootleg or anything like that but cant post it here and peripherals and a monitor i would suggest getting what you really need first and just buying a mouse and or cheap keyboard for right now and look for monitor and peripherals as a future upgrade.

it all depends on your current tempatures, try checking the gpu's temp and then switch the fan as an exhaust and see if it helps might or might not, at the end of the day your choice!

You wasted a hella amount of money fooling around with the aesthetic looks not saying it doesnt look well, but you defintely did not get the best bang for your buck, great to impress your friends and what not but you could of used that money you sspent on looks on a better video card a bettter i5 or more cpu and way better ram since you bought 4 ram slots of ddr3 with 1333hz not a good choice you did fill up the ram slots for your motherboard though! you wasted your money on that ssd since you cant even use it to boot up programs with the allocated 32gb in it. you spent more than enough on that psu, and on that cpu liquid cooler aswell you would of been fine with a fan cooler since you're not doing some extreme shiz in there, but hey if it was looks you were worrying about dont you worry! because you did a great job on those!
