Thermaltake Supressor F1
Might want to pickup some 80mm fans to help with temperature
Do you plan to overclock?
I'm switching to a Mini-ITX build to see if it solves my dust issues and for LAN events.
Most of the expensive boards have better heatsinks for the VRM/Mofsets?
I'm hoping that my new case helps cut down on dust :)
Nice! I was looking at the GT 1030. I need to find a single-slot version, since the PCI x16 slot is at the end against the case. A guy is selling one locally but the fanless heatsink takes up 2 slots :(
@Allan_M_Systems Thanks! This helps alot.
What mobo do you have? Memory brand and model number?
You might have to put them in particular slots for all RAM to be recognized properly.
Nice build. Some suggestions for down the road:
1) Replace stock CPU cooler with an aftermarket cooler (Cryorig H7 or Cooler Master EVO)
You have an unlocked CPU, why not overclock it
2) Add a SSD for the Operating System, you will notice a difference in performance and boot times.
Some good brands: Intel and Samsung
~240 GB should suffice
3) Two more fans would help but are not required. One as intake (Front) and exhaust (Top)
See page 1-23 of the manual. JFP2 is where you connect the speaker, the side with 4 pins.
Darn. Thanks for the feedback guys.
Do you know if the thermal paste that comes with the H7 is non-conductive?
Nice Build. I noticed your not using the ODD cage, you know you can remove that right? You could move the HDD cage to the top for better airflow or add another fan (120mm).
