An RX580 is a really good idea. I had not thought of that. Upgrading the monitor is not an option. I like the idea of having an all AMD build and keeping the freesync. Where is the best place to read about the differences between the different RX580 cards? Seems to be a lot of different options.

I like the ugly, expensive, Austrian fan though. It will last a long time and it cools like an ice storm.

Thanks! Do you think a 1070 would be overkill for a 75hz monitor? I want whatever I upgrade to in the future to be able to run games like The Witcher 3, Prey and eventually Cyberpunk well.

I understand what you mean but the stock fan was too loud for me and I do not think it would keep the chip cool enough once I start overclocking.
