Try psu or extra motherboard screws. Could be an easy fix, sometimes they're the right size

Confused at how and why you bought an rx570 for $190, along with a cpu with IG. Pricing seems very high especially for this time of year.

Currently building a pc for my friend under a similar budget. In fact, a lot of the parts in this build are similar to what I've bought so far. I happened to get lucky and find a 2600x for $100 and an rx580 for $120 with some digging. Cool to see such a similar build though. Hope your friend enjoys it!

Overkill is certainly right, but I bet you'll have some fun with this. I learned a lot about computers from youtube too, and that's how I built my first rig. A suggestion would be maybe to get into some games that might utilize the monstrous card you have in this. Otherwise nice build

Why would you replace an rx570 with a rx480? Especially if it was the 8gb version

Great build but you probably could've found the gtx 1070 used for a lot less, and maybe used that leftover money to buy an aio.

I would uncap it from 60 fps. Even on monitors that are only 60hz with vsync turned on you can actually get better frame rates. If you watch this video https://youtu.be/uzp8z1i5-Hc it explains it really well

I would definitely go with the rx 570. I play highest settings around 250 FPS at lower points. I have a friend with a gtx 1060 and he gets substantially less FPS. Good luck eother way

Great read and great build! If he wanted to play more graphics intensive games but still on a budget he might want to get an rx 570. Other than that seems solid

i overclocked my ram to 2800, didn't have more time to test to see if further speeds would work. I've only brought my cpu to 3.75 so far. After I get my aio I'll go further

Super clean looking build. I LOVE that mobo so much, it does put a lot of character into the build. I just did my first build in the h500i, and its such a great platform to build in. Looks great man

Thank you! It was a joke at first but it actually did provide some better airflow. I'm also really into cars, and a car that has a lot of cringey mods or extra stuff is called a "ricer" or being rice.

Yep, thats exactly what I did. I was planning on buying three fans at first but it would've costed more so I went with five

Right, I thought about this too. However, it’s actually dropped my gpu temps by like 4-5 Cs so I’ve kept it in lol. And thanks I was on a strict budget and this works great. 170 fps steadily on Fortnite max settings

Honestly I have no idea, around Christmas time my friend let me use his mousepad, Amazon basics keyboard and cheapo gaming mouse that I plugged into my Xbox. He ended up getting a 3 foot one so he let me keep it. It’s steel series just idk model
