Like everyone else has said, had no idea you folks did that but keep up the wonderful work!
This forum is for parts list opinions, you asked for opinions so I gave you one. If you don't want my advice then don't take it, no harm done :)
At the top of your parts list you can check to see if it gives you the comparability approval or not. You'll be fine with your parts and everything fitting in that case. In the future though you really should be more specific if you don't want people giving you parts list or different case alternatives.
Hope this helps, cheers.
If you're trying to do a nice pc for you dad if he's not going to do much outside of office work, you could probably do with a better case tbh and storage. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hdryq4
Hope this is something you're looking to do for him.
You didn't specify what it was for, so people can't exactly read your mind and fully know if your dad will game or not.
Fair enough! I might consider getting a 'k' processor though just in case I ever decide on wanting to do slight overclocks but I'll keep intel in mind.
Any particular reason 8th gen intel over ryzen or?
I kinda like the overclocking ability for ryzen 2 and if I need a better cooler I can always get one down the road. Good to know though that 1070s are getting cheaper though!
I really like this build! How's the noise like on your rig?
Nice sleeper build!
