your water cooler is fine but Intel processors are the way to go (if you get an Intel make sure in the name it has a k on the end of the name) (only for Intel). I think you can run the games you stated above (but I'm not certain) and for compatibility you should be fine the only thing is your motherboard might not support the CPU you have now (just look at the compatibility notes at the bottom of the list).
