Love the setup! If it hasn't been asked, where did you get your mousepad? It looks great.

lxtbell2's Completed Build: Project "6": Threadripper SLI in Micro ATX with PETG

enricko7 1 Build 3 points 4 months ago

I can't get any memory working properly in slot B or C (according to the manual it's either slot AB or CD), and I'm too lazy to disassemble everything to fix it. Fortunately, slot AD works well with dual channel and XMP. (It's a good idea to test components before going liquid if you can. However I don't have any sTR4 cooler and skipped testing)

Aren't you hampering your performance by only using 2 memory channels? Do the other two slots not function no matter what?

The H115i was a breeze to install, no mods needed. Seemed like the hoses were the perfect length. Unfortunately, I can't tell you about thermals. I never really documented them, and the computer is completely different now. That said, the 750D has plenty of ventilation that I took advantage of to keep things cool.

b00tup318's Completed Build: Bring Me The Kryptonian

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

I think cpu/chipset combo dictates ECC compatibility, not just CPU.

b00tup318's Completed Build: Bring Me The Kryptonian

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

Do you only have two RAM modules installed?

Qwertacious's Completed Build: DJG - Monochrome Build

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Nice photos! How do you like the fans? I'm planning to use a couple of them in a small form factor build soon, just wondering how noise is with them.

dixonerfais's Completed Build: Patience.

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 8 months ago

I too would like to know what he did for the desk. Looks like a tabletop sitting on file cabinets, but specifics would be nice.

Solitaire01's Completed Build: Little Black Box (or "INDIA" Build)

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 9 months ago

What speakers do you use in your theater? I'm likely in need of a center channel soon.

Dang, that GPU looks like crap. Are the memory IC's all bubbled up?

bl4ckdot's Completed Build: Hécate Mk I - Parvum - EKWB MLC Phoenix

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

+1 for Focal headphones. I hope to try the Clear at some point this year. Then if I like it I may spring for it next year.

How do you like the Parvum case? Is it pretty sturdy?

setibox's Completed Build: Chibineko

enricko7 1 Build 4 points 12 months ago

So... uhhh... What do you do for a living? I wish I had the kind of disposable income you have with the two of your builds. Do you have a system that you do game with or do you just do Seti work?

Northern_Ash's Completed Build: Vandalia 2.0

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 13 months ago

The Amazon reviews sounded half and half, but as far as real leather gaming chairs, Noble seems like the best option. Did you try it out before you bought it or did you just go for it?

Northern_Ash's Completed Build: Vandalia 2.0

enricko7 1 Build 3 points 13 months ago

Neat chair! Is it pretty comfortable?

Radox-0's Completed Build: The Pinnacle - Shift X Custom loop HTPC

enricko7 1 Build 2 points 13 months ago

Aw man, EKWB has a monoblock for this motherboard you could've used. Would certainly look good and help with performance. Might have issues with tubing fitment?

jincsin's Completed Build: A Simple Computer

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 18 months ago

I think the pull fans on your radiator are backwards. I'm pretty sure the fan supports should be visible.

L0hki's Completed Build: Ncase M1 with top radiator & GTX 1080 Ti

enricko7 1 Build 2 points 20 months ago

So, where does the power supply fit into all that?

enricko7's Completed Build: Fool's Gold

enricko7 submitter 1 Build 1 point 20 months ago

Thanks for the compliment!

Yeah it's a single HD120. There is only one because the 280mm radiator with push pull fans blocks the other fan mount. I had two HD120s installed at one point (see the second to last picture). I don't think 140mm fans mount to the bottom without modding the case.

rmowell's Completed Build: AMD Threadripper 1950X Build

enricko7 1 Build 1 point 20 months ago

I gotcha. Have you used the built in sound card?

Let us know how the cpu performs in the long run, yeah?

rmowell's Completed Build: AMD Threadripper 1950X Build

enricko7 1 Build 3 points 20 months ago

Glad to see a Threadripper build on here. What do you expect to use it for? Also, doesn't that motherboard have a sound card built into it?

narhazz's Completed Build: Red Engine - a Manta Build PC

enricko7 1 Build 2 points 20 months ago

Nice build, I like how clean you have everything. I don't know how I feel about those cases, but this build makes it look great.

p.s. What's the LEGO model behind the pc in your 6th picture?

enricko7's Completed Build: Fool's Gold

enricko7 submitter 1 Build 1 point 21 months ago

I see what you mean, but honestly I don't think I would get much out of putting money (especially that much) into my cpu. At least not at this point in time. The 4820K runs really well, and it is hyperthreaded at least. It wasn't really something I considered needing to upgrade when I started digging back into this. If I start consistently doing things that would take advantage of more cores, then I will definitely try to find something.
