Great build for the price!
Thanks for the reply!
I have been trying to find out how to turn it off, but I can't seem to find it.
I am going to check that out today.
So the fps should be higher? That's what I was thinking.
Why did you say hopefully your last x99 build?
Thanks for the information. Really much appreciated.
So does that mean I need to buy the cords for it and if so where do I get them. Sorry this is my first experience building a computer.
Thanks for the reply. As far as both mobo do I lose a lot by keeping this mobo. Sorry to ask you this question on this thread but I got a blue ray drive from neweegg and they sent it without a box and no cables. Is that the usual or should I send it back.
Why are you waiting until Monday? I should have all the parts for my build come today but I am not really comfortable putting it together myself.
This gots me thinking now, what if I want to upgrade in a year or two. Does this mobo support sli? Can this set up play games at 3440x1400 at 60fps or higher?
Do you think that mobo is future proof because I wanted to see if I could put a 6850k later, but it was not compatible with my mobo. I don't know why.
That is what I came up with to compliment my CPU and GPU. I will also need a case and maybe some good headphones, what do youll think?
I like the build, I might just bite the bullet and upgrade to a i5 cpu.
Thanks I might give it a go!
Thanks for your reply, might get a cheap ssd to load the is.
Sorry bud my bad, I need an os, keyboard, and monitor. Let me know if I should wait for another video card or cpu that will be coming out in the next month or so. Much appreciated. I'm from the US as well.
Cool I plan on getting a gtx1080 when they are available. Will these countries be able to handle VR?
By the way the 6700k are 314.00 on newegg!
Thanks bud cleared a lot. Do you think I will be able to sell this Zotac for a reasonable price when the 1080i come out? Once those 1080i come out I will probably buy two and I wont touch my video cards for a long time. Did the 980 offer a radical gaming difference from the 980i? Thanks for the info.
They have one in stock on newegg right now for 699
I edited your components just a bit. Tell me what you think about this build. Do you think I can fit these components in a nzxt h440 razor edition case. I like the looks of the case and the green and black. Or do you think that it is better that I have extra space, and will the extra space make my machine quieter?
I like the ladder of the 2. I'm thinking about only buying one video card and getting a better monitor.
Should I go with a broadwell-E chip to futureproof. I am not going to buy 2 cards at one time. I was looking at a 32 or 34 inch screen to compensate for the cost. 100 hz was what I'm kind of looking for. Does it make that much of a difference?
What do youll think of this build. Can it potentially run games at 4k or 3440x1440 at a high fps. If not what do I have to do to get them at them standards. What would you recommend or suggest I do differently. I also don't want a founders edition gtx 1080, how long do you think I will have to wait to a steady stock arrives?
Honestly this is going to be my first build. My goal is to run everything at ultra settings on a 3440 x 1440 monitor. Maybe even ultra settings on a 4k monitor as well. I am not doing intensive rendering and I really don't know why I chose 32 gb of ram. Thanks for the input. A friend suggested this power supply so I will just get one with lower wattage.
I forgot to tell you that I will be primarily using this rig for games, school work, and maybe some editing and photoshop.
In hindsight, would you get a different cpu.
I like the appearance of both. I am leaning towards the h440. I really won't be moving it much so the towers large appearance is nothe a problem. I do like the space and this will be my first build. I am going to try and list my parts to see what you'll think.
Thanks for the suggestions. Is it hard to change components later or add another video card for sli. Do you think a titan gpu would be enough or sli 1080 cards? What kind of cooling do I need and what would be a good Blu-ray writer and reader. Do I need a network adapter or wired adapter? Sorry for all the question.
One other thing I would like is to game on 4k!
