i know, right?
right in the heart
Colour scheme wise, you're so close to perfection with this. Shame on silverstone for not sleeving those fan/case cables...thought about doing them yourself?
they do PSUs with sleeved cables! pretty cost efficient, too!
This cooler would have looked amazing (but it still looks awesome!)
Cable management is...well, this can help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrfBAGYbtgI
my guess is because X99 supports quad channel ram, so...may as well, right?
how can you get windows cheaper?
This is soooo nice. Clearly a well thought out build with taste, restraint, and style!
hrm, most of your parts dont match the photos...
NZXT has really been killing it with these absolutely beautiful and classy case designs. Wow.
Maybe the microstuttering has to do with your monitor? or the cable you are using to connect the GPU to the monitor?
oh ok, cool!
I'm assuming the locked CPU you listed in the parts list was a mistake?
JayzTwoCents just put out a video about this!
How do you like your monitor? How does it looked in portrait mode, and how are the viewing angles?
I just picked one up for $19 due to a pricing error. I'm excited!
last time i bounced on a pricing error it was honored. we'll see!
Whoa I didn't realize that keyboard/mouse combo came in red! I have the same but in blue. Mine is also far less bright than yours! I'm jealous!
wow that bridge looks awesome! like...REALLY AWESOME.
The optical drive isn't that bad...maybe it just needs more layers and longer drying times between them?
still, this build is blacked out nicely!
That heatsink is ADORABLE!
I've had it for a year now, and I can't complain. The stock fans are louder than I'd like, but they certainly do a good job of moving air across the case.
The case will get dusty. Even with positive air pressure (I installed a third fan in the side, didn't help much) There are just too many ventilation holes everywhere. I guess you could always filter them, but at that point, just spend more money on a better case with pre-installed dust filters.
Overall, though...I'm more than happy with the cooling performance of the case considering it's price!
nice, that's awesome! i'm a huge fan of blackout builds. so stealthy! can't wait to see the results!
if you do, you may as well plastidip the optical drive too! i've seen bottles of the stuff for under $10
ah, sorry, was too lazy to google. silly me. thanks though!
oooh ok, thanks for the info! sorry for not just looking it up myself, eek. as for the crossfire bridge, i've seen people spray them in plastidip. that bridge would look great in matte black, maybe?
Nice build! Does the top 280X get enough air? Also, I may be wrong, but aren't crossfire bridges unnecessary on newer AMD cards?
Sweet, sweet build. So classy, well balanced, and oh so pretty!
awesome, thanks! its a pretty cool monitor!
whats the monitor?
The name of your build is extremely offensive.
Or even better, this beast (lol):
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
This is with canadian pricing, i bet you could do better in the US
Money VERY well spent, here. Good work!
Sweet build. What's that red cable going out to the bottom PCI expansion slot?
Nice! Looks like a great deal to me!
Nice build! Love the black all over. Could you post a link to the gigabyte WiFi card, please?
Oh, wow! I am going to read up on Charity Water...sounds like a great project! Thanks for sharing Philip! Keep up the great work!
I didn't realize PCPP was involved in this way! Makes me even happier to be involved in this community! Next stop: Well #2 !
is that a 4k tv? that would be sweet.
What is that adorable little 40mm Noctua for?
It's a cool build. Feels really customized to your needs. When did you build this? Did you upgrade along the way?
being deaf doesn't exclusively mean an inability to hear anything at all...
Really cool build. My only question is about the fan mounted on the hard drive cage. It seems to be opposite to the airflow of the rest of the case. I know that you want to push air onto the drives, but you can also pull air over them by flipping the direction of airflow on that fan.

This is a great build. Everything was so well thought out. The colour scheme is perfect and Noctua's have never looked so good!
LOL that cpu cooler is massive
no fan on the cpu cooler?
im guessing it was a $99 combo deal with the mobo
