Absolutely need more watts. Oh if money wasn't an issue ;) I'll get temps up when I get a chance. I can say ideal is within 1 degree of ambient air for CPU and GPU Currently 21c.

I modded my own bracket. The lian li bracket you can buy doesnt allow you to mount a bottom radiator

This is the first htpc/console killer I have seen for console it will smash all consoles! I hope that 500 watt power supply will be enough I image so. Nvidia recommends at least a 600 watt power supply for the 980 ti. +1 check out my build

This is a clean build I like it. I too had the same idea of going with i7 just for future proofing. You have all quality parts I would have just recommended going with 3TB HDD for $30 more. +1

Very nice job being able to fit 2 x 980 ti in a build with this budget. However it is recommended to have at least an 850 watt power supply with sli 980 ti. +1
