Thats what I thought and I originally was going to use a Corsair GS600 that I already have. I asked a friend of mine to evaluate the build and he said that Microcenter stated that GPU itself requires 600w. I didn't believe it much at first seeing as how the Asus website itself says only 300w. Then I was watching a Newegg video on it and he also stated the GPU needed 600w. Figured with inconsistent info I would err on the side of caution.
