Wireless mice have become good enough to use as a daily driver, especially Logitech mice. Plus I haven’t found a mouse I like the feel of better
I mean, I'm able to pull deals out sometimes from nowhere. I know where I can get a 5820K for $100, I got a 560 Ti for $20, and a 780 back in 2015 for the price of a 950 at the time.
Just keep it to play around with honestly.
I plan to bench some older and newer games with it. Well, as far as DX 10 can go.
Lol, not Mexican, there's gold in there also.
Why thank you
Happy freakin new year to you too
Because all the parts I had lying around, and I only paid for the RAM and power supply. My buddy gave me his old parts after he upgraded.
Why would I lie about what I paid or didn’t pay for them just to appease you?
Maybe, at lower settings and probably not 1080p.
It'll be just fine. Shouldn't have any issues, just put a Blu-Ray drive in.
SSD will still be faster than a hard drive regardless of SATA II or SATA III.
Thank you thank you.
Thank you. Walking Dead is a great game, also.
Why thank you!
I mean.. why make it a quote? That's my philosophy. Also, approve of the Tracer pic.
Then it'd have been a waste of money and a kit when I upgrade to 16 later.
If you look at the parts list, you'll notice that I have 4GB of RAM in this build.
I'm using 64 bit Windows 10. I'm also not surprised about the Q6600 being faster, I know it's faster.
Mobo seems good so far, haven't tried overclocking yet.
1500x has been a beast so far.
Thanks, it's what I do.
I'm actually working on yet another recycled build. I just upgraded my PC so I'm moving some parts around and making a PC for my mom.
I know it's been quite some time since you built this computer, but how does that WiFi adapter work for you? Is it any good?
GTA V I get about 70ish FPS on high settings.
I get about 50ish on high settings in Quantum Break
About 90 to 110 in Titanfall 2.
I haven't tested much else yet.
The Tomoko mechanical keyboard. I also have an old Gateway Anykey keyboard, which has cherry MX compatible keyswitches. They're also double shot molded, so I put them on my mech.
Because, why not?
Thank you. I love doing budget builds.
Ryzen would have been the better option, for sure.
I would be too.
If it helps at all, I'm angry at you too.
Yep, not to bad. I bet it could handle some other titles besides Minecraft as well.
Oh man, lol. That sucks.
How is this cancer
Between 40 and 60 in Minecraft.
That's all she plays
Q6600 is a Quad. But I have a Q8200 instead.
It's decent. Not to bad.
I would have, but I entered a competition to build a sub-$100 gaming PC with all local used parts.
Them and the Phenom IIs from AMD from that generation are both still really good processors for gaming.
Obviously temper your expectations, but they can do 1080p gaming just fine.
I wouldn't say LTT is utter BS, yet. I'd say Linus is utter BS, and Luke is starting to follow. The workshop videos and the other little experiments that Luke does at least has some value as opposed to more of the "review" oriented stuff.
Cause why the hell not.
Beautiful, isn't it :P
There's two slots for 3.5" drives, and a removable cage for another 2 drives. Neither fit 2.5" drives though, and I was to cheap to buy a caddy.
I can confirm that's not true.
Though, IMO, LTT has been falling in quality as of late.
I was bored.
Question was turned to statement when it should be question.
The one time I forget to proof-read.
Yeah, I can agree. It's not an eyesore.
Run little Core 2 Duo, run!
I'd say do it. It's actually pretty neat little thing to have.
I'll try to as I go along.
I figured I might as well put in the new keychain.
Lol, it's not a bad looking case for an OEM one.
