why the a10 instead of the athlon x4 880k*** ?
At first I was wondering where the iGPU was but then I looked and then it showed that it has a P4600
what r u going to do with the internet?? last time i was there, it was unbearingly slow. Also, nice build. +1
How does Civ 5 run under a lot of AI? just curious. Anyways, nice build and thank you for sharing. +1
I really do like how this build is similar to my hunk a dell optiplex 755. Thanks for sharing. +1
yeah, but in ark it says it has 69 w TDp. I think it means it has no integrated Graphics, correct me if i'm wrong.
I love the pricing of this build and how cheap you got thos parts. Although, I recommend getting a new PSU for the one in your current build will possibly blow up your PC.
Dual Channeling the RAM would give it a nice performance boost, but if you are going to do it, use the same RAM stick you are currently using. Other than that, nice build!
You might want to reverse the fan, js. That's bc the both the outtake and your cooler fan are fighting for air, too. Although it doesn't seem to be a problem, it might come back to bite you in the future. Other than that, nice build!
I like this build and it's cheapness, but I would want to replace the PSU and get a new HDD imo. 40 GB is below today's standards, js.
Dual Graphics with the R7 250 wouldn't work with the A8-6500, for it is not Kaveri, it is Richland.
Imo, I think you overspent on the Pentium D, unless i'm mistaken, but this seems to be a rather peculiar build.
Question, Why is the back fan taking air in? Anyways, nice build.
When are you going to get a discrete GPU?
The Idle temps are high 0-0
Nice build tho, but why the 970?
The IGP of the Pentium is better than the 8400 gs, just saying.
Is it possible to use cable management in this case?
You might want to replace your CPU Cooler. I checked amazon and it mentioned only having 70 W of cooling capacity, meaning the 7870k can overheat because of it's 95 W TDP. But, after all, it's your build, so please do waht fits you most.
Nice build! But I would probably get the 950 vs the R7 370 because the 950 got better results and had better pricing. That's just my opinion anyways, feel free to get what you fits you best.
I hope this gets OC'ed
According to gamedebate, your GT 610 is 52% worse performance wise than your i7's integrated GPU, so I would rather use the integrated GPU, or is there another reason?
how did you get the silver intel badge?
Question: Why is the 660ti not on the first slot? Isn't it the slot with x16?
Either way, +1 for rebuild.
I love how you cut out the back plate of that case! +1
We have the same monitor! I also like how this is really cheap, like IMojoe24 mentioned.
I did specifically point out that it was not meant to put a bad rep or make him feel bad about his build, so please read what other people say next t,e, if you please.
He'll be wasting his money. The PCIe slot only electrically supports 2.0 x4 PCIe. And we both know intel is not budget friendly, but my friend, you forgot to remember the Pentium. Also, the Kabini will bottleneck(a little*) a lot of GPUs, such as the 750ti.
Just remember, that is only IF he wants more performance. Imo, I think that he will be fine with the tasks he will be doing with the Kabini.
Lol I'm sorry, I forgot that you have a HTPC case, and IF you can fit a full bracket GPU, do put a 750ti, because it requires so low power and a lot of performance!
Yes, I did read the desc. But please take note that this is not to hurt you in any kind of way, this is only some advice. If you are wondering, I am running an 8 year old Optiplex 755 PC with 4 GB RAM, 320 GB HDD, and a Radeon HD 3450. It still serves me well with casual gaming and net surfing. But do save more money, and if you plan to build a new PC, please remember to not skimp out on any components, for this will cost you more rather than buying a good quality component and do use either Intel Skylake, or AMD Zen on your next build. I also would like to tell you that I'm a little fearful of your PSU because it is a cheap one, and might explode suddenly. Lastly, I do not believe that AMD will be support their AM1 APU lineup anymore and Amd Zen will be using a unified socket which is upgrade-able in case you want to go from APU to the FX lineup.
Edit: AMD Zen will be released next year and Intel Skylake will be on August**
As for the GT, you should probably get a GTX 750ti, but that's your choice. I honestly think you're fine with the iGPU. In terms of performance, it is in the middle of Intel HD graphics 3000 and 4000. Sadly, I don't think AMD would be supporting socket AM1 anymore.
