How's the ram working out? I want to get the Ripjaw V 3200mhz ones as well but I'm getting so many conflicting reports of it will work with x99.
Were you able to run them at the full 3200 speed?
How is the ram working out?
I'm building a x99 system and I wanted to get the same Ripjaw V's you got, the 3200mhz ones.
I've been told Ripjaw V's wont work well x99 and to get trident Zs or Ripjaw 4s. Whats your experience?
Do you have all 32gb running at 3200mhz ok? thanks in advance
How is the ram working out? Any updates to getting to work as 3200?

I just got the 4x4GB set and they use 4GBit dram chips (to achieve one sided dimm) that the kingston said would not work. I'm ordering the 2x8GB sticks that I should have done in the first place.
What do you make of this? UGH. wishing I didn't cancel my order and just tested them out...

"I have quite a lot of knowledge with high memory home PC based servers as an application I run at home uses a lot of memory. I have the following:
Just from my experience and knowledge, MC's perform better/and or more stable when there are less dimms in use. I just happened to do a search for 16GB on Amazon and the Kingston HyperX's 2x8GB showed up on sale and $15-$20 cheaper and faster (1866vs1600) than any of the quad kits..I didn't HAVE to have 8GB dimms, it was just cheaper/more ideal. And I don't have any memory issues either. This is a temporary machine that I'm borrowing until my next build and the 8GB currently installed was a major wall when editing video, which is what its primary used for. I wanted to spend as little money as possible because, again this isn't a permanent rig.
Anyway I cancelled the original order and went ahead with the patriot viper 3's by coincidence (just now reading these replys). Thanks for your time and information guys, much appreciated.
Edit: IN case you were curious Tiagna, a Kingston repped replied to my question on Amazon and confrimed the ram I bought wouldn't work because they use 4 GBit DRAM chips and he said p55 have trouble "communicating" with them and are therefore not validated or supported. Although in my research I came across a handful of people and screenshots showing 2x8GB working on their p55 boards. shrugs no worth the time of trying 8GB, not working, sending back. 4x4gb and moving on~
