Potential Issues / Incompatibilities

  • Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.
  • BitFenix - Shinobi Window ATX Mid Tower Case has front panel USB 3.0 ports, but the MSI - 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ Motherboard does not have onboard USB 3.0 headers.

Your MB and GPU are a bad choice; a rule of thumb for MBs and GPUs is don't buy MSI because they tend to suck (they also factory clock their GPUs higher than they should, so it can outperform the competition in reviews that last less than 24 hrs done by 3D Guru and the like, but in the longterm die far ahead of schedule), and Asus has nonexistent customer support, so if something goes wrong, you are screwed and that is that. Besides that, all seems well.

bios update also dat free ram. And I'd change that GPU if i were you.

I would recommend not spending so much on a case. I would also recommend changing your MB and GPU like someone else said for the exact reasons. They may look nice but looks don't matter when the computer is utter crap. Also, try getting a MB that goes well with your CPU to save your headaches for a different time.
