Underrated Overkill

fddlstyx's Completed Build: Styx V5 (2018)

rogdog56 1 point 17 hours ago

That's beautiful, I hope this gets a feature because it deserves it. Also, I think you may have listed the wrong fans

Thor_LU's Completed Build: My second build.

rogdog56 1 point 21 hours ago

Phanteks ENTHOO EVOLV X GLASS added to cart. JK, to fit in my budget I'd need to downgrade to 1060. It's unfortunate because it's such a cool case.

ghostthief980's Completed Build: ($1100-1150 Gaming and Streaming PC) Aesthetically pleasing and performance on a budget

rogdog56 1 point 1 day ago

I'd probably get a 1070-1070ti, but I don't think I'd get an x470. I won't use any of it's features and it's basically like throwing money at the wall for me.

ghostthief980's Completed Build: ($1100-1150 Gaming and Streaming PC) Aesthetically pleasing and performance on a budget

rogdog56 1 point 1 day ago

nice build! I'm hoping for similar parts in mine but going for more of a subdued black theme, as I don't like having all those rgb lights

OllieManMan's Completed Build: For the Horde!

rogdog56 1 point 1 day ago

Wow, this is beautiful. I know nothing about WarCraft but I do know this is one beautiful build.

BertTabak's Completed Build: The Monolith

rogdog56 1 point 3 days ago

I prefer all black over RGB barf... but I like having RGB to have the option, because having everything on white or having it off still looks really clean

TheDahle's Completed Build: RGB Rebuild (Down-sized)

Nice build!

It's mainly a 2-10 (at most) player server of games like Garry's Mod, Minecraft, and other sandbox games we goof around in. Some of them are building PCs, (like 2 of the 10 people not including me) and the rest use dual core laptops. And the friends who are building PCs have quad core, so they're electing me to host the server so I kind of have to get an octocore.

I love the style of the 750d

Yeah, if it's mesh the airflow will be great.

rogdog56 1 point 6 days ago

I think so, it looks like your case has holes in the front. Also I'd like to add that for the same price as the fans you have now you can get the pwm versions so you can control them through your mobo.

TheDahle's Completed Build: RGB Quiet Build (Staying under $4k)

rogdog56 1 point 6 days ago

Nice build, but wow, NZXT's really shady with software. Unfortunately, my friend just got the kraken m22 but I just warned him about NZXT. I was going to buy an NZXT cooler too but now I'm gonna pass and go for a captain 240ex. Thanks for the review

bewo83's Completed Build: FaceRipper 2.0 - mATX Threadripper RTX 2080 Ti

rogdog56 1 point 9 days ago

Nice build, however I am very curious as to how well a noctua u12s cools a threadripper. Getting one for my r5 2600, and is it really that good?

TheBananaBandit's Completed Build: Air Cooled Meshify C

rogdog56 1 point 9 days ago

Nice build, I'm gonna get the u12s with a couple of these fans.

ravingnoodle's Completed Build: Asus Aura Gaming Build

rogdog56 1 point 9 days ago

Is the d15s good? I am considering it because those noctua chromax look dank. Also for the noctua chromax covers; can you swap out the colours?

ApocPony's Completed Build: Atari Meets Shift

rogdog56 1 point 15 days ago

Wow, this is a great build. I love the way the wood and the RGB clash. Sorry if I have asked this before but how good are those noctua fans? considering them for my build. Also if you go on 1070 sc2 the first three builds are all your builds.

DJHeroMasta's Completed Build: Project Blue Angel Rev 1.2 (Ryzen)

rogdog56 1 point 15 days ago

Yeah, I saw the 1060 rog was pretty overkill and would be kind of a waste of money; so I just decided to go with a low end 1070 instead of a 1060. this is it. I am getting 144hz monitor and am thinking about streaming a little hence the 1070 and also the beefy air cooler for ryzen (ocíng)

DJHeroMasta's Completed Build: Project Blue Angel Rev 1.2 (Ryzen)

rogdog56 1 point 15 days ago

I would go with the air cooler but silence is a massive factor for my build. Which is kind of dumb considering I have a meshify c mini instead of an nzxt case but it looks cool and is cheaper than h400

DJHeroMasta's Completed Build: Project Blue Angel Rev 1.2 (Ryzen)

rogdog56 1 point 15 days ago

This was great build! Do you recommend the asus rog 1060 or should i go with lower end one and get better PC fans?

Forum Topic "Recommendations for mice under 80 usd?"

rogdog56 submitter 1 point 16 days ago

I have relatively small hands, and I prefer palm/claw grip. I don't care for buttons very much, so the g502 may be good, and I think I have a store near me, so I will check for ones that fit my hands well. I may go for g502 if it fits, but right now I am looking at rival 310

Forum Topic "Best Nintendo Switch Games?"

rogdog56 2 points 16 days ago

Zelda, Mario Odyssey, Smash. The new pokemon looks amazing too. Mario Kart deluxe is optional, but I get a lot of fun from it. Civ 6 is on there now, but I'd recommend that on PC. Also shovel knight. Shovel knight shovel knight shovel knight. Get that on PC and switch, it's great.

Ametista's Completed Build: Amethyst

rogdog56 2 points 16 days ago

Sorry if this is second comment, this PC is just so cool. I'm probably building similar sort of thing just with h400i instead of h200i. NZXT products are just amazing

Run on competitive settings (no aa, no shadows, no post processing, max textures, effects, view distance) for high FPS and for a slight competitive advantage

Forum Topic "Missing MSI motherboard"

rogdog56 1 point 24 days ago

Yeah, I asked about this a while back and they said they will update compatibility engine because it has a quirk. For now I just add it to partslist in "Other". But in the future you should probably post this kind of stuff here.

Forum Topic "4k vs 1080p 144hx"

rogdog56 submitter 1 point 25 days ago

Noctua chromax is what im planning at the moment; but if i want 1080 at the same price I will have to sacrifice those

Forum Topic "4k vs 1080p 144hx"

rogdog56 submitter 1 point 25 days ago

Yeah, there actually isn't any 1080p 144hz IPS. There's only 1440p. Also do you recommend 1070 ti or should i go with 1070? I have to seriously compromise on fan quality for a 1070 ti though

Forum Topic "4k vs 1080p 144hx"

rogdog56 submitter 1 point 25 days ago

Unfortunately I cannot find an IPS 1080p monitor above 75hz, and I prioritize the FPS over the screen (I know I said I'm not playing competitively but come on 100+ fps is so amazing) but I plan to add a pg279q to my setup in the future
