Well, not sure but even in the case of being loud, I feel like it balances out with the FD R5. Plus RGB Ü

Yes that's true. But take into perspective. This pc = approx. 2000 (whatever his currency is.) About 5 years ago I could game on high quality with my 700Euro craptop. It's busted out today. Can't even run games anymore. I feel like, getting a 480/1060 would be smart, especially for games today, but seeing as the build rounds out at 2000, and op stated he wants 144fps (for his monitors sake), AND it's a decent future proof (1070 is overkill for 1080 today, but in about 3 - 4 years it'll work itself out), then it makes sense!

1080p Is fine. It also makes it so you can get a 1070 and crush anything you throw at it. If you want to play at 1440p you can as well. Monitors are expensive. Especially if someone wants to have 144hz monitors for competitive games or just likes 144hz. It adds up in cost. Getting the asus monitor he did was a really smart decision (well done op I respect that). Nothing wrong with 1080p!
