I have the same Ram and it works well with Aura sync.
Very clean build. Route the 24 pin under that Case braket to hide it better.
As soon as you have some funds exchange that Mobo and then the case. Your front Panel allows NO airflow whatsoever. With Ryzen and the heat they can get plus a mobo that probably wont have any good hwatsinks I suspect that PC is frying in there.
THAT CASE O.o
I love it so much!
I alwys worry about putting something on the Backplate of the GPU
Well I said oooooh when I saw it so take my upvote!
Ok...I admit I clicked the picture cause it looked like Toothbrushes coming out of the case. Nice build tho
I love this build!
The colors blow me awy I have the same components. Would you be willing to give me the RGB light settings?
just saw the one bend on your gpu has folds so if you have time I would redo that one bend. Happens when the tubing wasnt heated well enough.
I just love the color scheme inside with the poison green fluid and the white. I wonder how this would look with blacklight inside. Amazing job mate!
have fun building your rig!
Mainboard and GPU and I think that ram too can be linked via Aura Sync so they work together.
The AIO can not be linked but changes color too.
It looks good together-
No that vertical thing has to be bought. http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/flex-vrc-25
It might only be sold later.
I did feel like the case is really good but sometimes space is tight.
Oh wait so you tried putting it in the top? Cause the 280mm doesnt fit the top. Also many reviews starte that if you want to put something in the top there is no real space because of the mobo heatsinks.
Do you have the same case?
I took out all my drive cages, put the fans on the radiator (the Noctua one's) and then attached the radiator to the chassis front. It's fits and has space after I put the drive bays back in.
Hey I used the same case. I put my Rad in front though. There is actually just about enough space. Seeing the back of your build makes me realize I need to get better at cablemanagement in the back.
Yeap Altrnate for example. That's where I got mine
I was lucky and got the TG version before release. No idea why the shop did that.
yeap Probably a silent Wing 3 again or another Noctua for better pull. Also one more 140 fits the top so you know. ^
That it does
Yeap I am planning another intake ofan on the bottom tho
it is a good case
I wanted another case actually and nobody had that so I was browsing the german store Alternate what was ready to be send. I knew teh R6 from review and it was in stock so I purchased it. I was kinda wondering too since anywhere else you couldnt get it
I have a Gigabyte Z170x-UD3 I checked but the PCI slots aren't metal reinforced. My Zotac 1070 sags slightly too and it just concerns me cause in my mind I always see the mainboard taking damage
I am thinking of getting that gpu but I am wondering if it is too heavy for my mainboard. Did you use some additional VGA Holder?
This buil makes my fingers itch to get sleeved cables, watercooling etc.
he did say it's the price.
I made the same choice. the Amp extreme was not deliverable and priced around 530€.
The Amp was (back then) at it's lowest around 470€
I am always amazed at these small builds. Just how hot does it get in there?
Very nice build.
Amazing for a first build
Ah okay I thought you wanted to do an SLI
thanks for the answer!
I have heard from others this card is supposed to be really loud while gaming Resolution: 2560x1440, I play on 1080p and haven't gotten a game to make the card run on 100%.
Is it loud and can you hear it over the game sounds?
It's a Monster Haha!
I had no idea it was this big (cue:thats what she said), and someohow got low ram. Lucky me cause two ramslots are buried by that thing.
Keeps everything nice and cool tho
Thanks by the way. I was really scared to build this on my own but it worked out well.
I am a bit sad my case is black inside. White does look more elegant maybe
I love white builds and yours is so pretty
Uhm that....doesn#t answer my question at all but thanks.
Maybe if you contact zotac suppot with the emails saying you could keep the wrong model so they can still verify for you and see it's not your fault? I'd try that their support is supposed to be super nice.
I must say I wouldn't sway from Zotac after having the amp. Its an amaizing card, super silent etc.
it has only 3 4 pins for fans, minus the one needed for the cpu cooler. that's the fourth. I have the same and quite a problem with upgrading to better cooling. Still trying to fgure out how to get in more fans.
how do you read out 2020Mhz on that gpu?
Which programm do you use? can you screenshot?
Cause the normal amp is listed with a bost rate of 1.797 Mhz.
only with OC can you get even a 1080 as high as 2020Mhz A zotac amp extreme 1080 has a boost Mhz of 1911 Mhz. So your card is overclocked
Hey I found you cause it listed you under the same card I have. the Zotac gtx 1070 amp. But you actually got the amp! extreme. So your parts list is a bit off.
Anyways super sweet build!
Edit: You lucky son of a gun. I just read that they send you the extreme accidentially.
Could you keep it for the lower price?
You did it like I. Ovberwhelmed so research one thing at a time.
Love the build you got done.
I bet you feel amazing pride looking at your rig and knowing you put this together even tho in the beginning you new nothing about PC's.
really well chosen parts
Nice rig. May I suggest to get a case with cable management the next time? Or get velcro as somebody suggested
Gods I dig the white builds they look so elegant. Love the light too.
oh that's a potato?
OMG a bit jealous! It's suposed to be an amazing card
Yea I have the same problem but i would have made it with had my case had the top cable holes. Which it doesnt.
