Fans are fans. Super simple. Noctua's are great. Just expensive. The H440 front panel benefits from the extreme static pressure.
The FTW won't fit. Custom PCB is too tall. The SC is the reference board and will fit without mods. You could get on Reddit and post on /r/hardwareswap and pick up the SC for just a trade. But no case mods needed, card fit, but just barely lol.
I like it a lot. Reddit apparently did too. Very rare to find them painted and almost no one does blue. I linked a picture to the front of the card.
Good wow I hope.
Now you just gotta get enough money for a 1060 together ;D
There's no issues at all with rocking last gen hardware. I wish I would've kept my 4790k if I'm honest. It was more responsive than my 6700k.
Ehem - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202226
Check into the 8gb RX 470. They're not making reference cards for them and they're basically identical in performance.
Commented in the wrong spot before. My b.
Honestly I think you'd be looking at closer to $600 maybe $650 on this build. GLWS! :)
I've bought them at 110, 120, and 140 now. My friend bought one at 100. Those are all 960 SSC 4gb cards. $120 is a good price :)
Edit- These are all used prices. The SSC model is one of the highest priced 960s on the market at $280 new. Totally not worth that.
Yes. $110 local.
Yeah. I needed the cheapest 1080 @ 144 I could get and this fit the bill.
Price. Also combined with the fact I didn't know it was Freesync when it was bought.
You'll be fine for the 1060. Wait for benchmarks and after market cards.
Will run games like Rocket League at 45-50 frames per second. Don't expect much for gaming before your graphics card.
I think changing the front 120mm fans for 140mm would help. 120mm fans are crap in general for airflow/noise.
You can literally barely hear them spin and I'm not sure if it's the case fans up front or the 140s. The case has stock fans on the front so.
I didn't know the hub wasn't adjustable when I was building but it makes everything super tidy. Anyways the case is quiet af even at full blast. I love it. No jet engine spooling anymore when I turn it on.
Didn't have the money or I would've gotten an i5 - 390 - bigger SSD and HDD but funds ;-;
Thanks man. Wish I could've made it better but it has an upgrade path at least. Lol.
It works well. It is a bit huge though.
Thanks! I tried. Cable combs are next. Somewhere down the line.
Where'd you get the clips for the sleeved cables?
