I think the GoPro he was using is stuck in fish-eye mode.

On that note, Shibs, do you own a smartphone? Might have worked better than the GoPro.

+1 for great looking build either way!

... You play games with AMD? SHAME! Oh wait, I do too. It's a Christmas miracle.

I'm glad I keep seeing positive comments on the S340, I'm getting ready to grab one for another build I'm doing and I keep telling myself the reviews are too good to be true.

This build will be well suited for upgrades down the road-- nice!

+1 AMD, +1 blue, +1 taking the plunge

+1 AMD build

"Why didn't you wait for Pascal? It's totes more gooder and same monies" - other people (not me)... thought I'd save them some time. They work so hard.

How do you like that Sandisk SSD? I've not had much experience with them outside of a 512MB flash drive and this old mp3 player (Sansa?) from high school.

Solid mobo. I've used that one for client builds a few times.

LOLOMGWTFHAHA it's an EVGA PSU!!!! Those are good too, though you may want to brace for those who don't necessarily agree.

Why not wait until Pascal? Oh wait... do you not need an insane GPU? Do you not feel like waiting? Is having "the best GPU on the market" not really your bag?

Me either bro. +1 for not putting your life on hold for a release.

I got a DOA ASRock Fatality board once. Bought two (two different builds), 50% didn't post.

I'm doing a build right now with a 960, waiting about six months for the price to drop on 980ti. Then I'll pick up 2 on the cheap and still be able to play whatever my heart desires.

Same mobo, GPU, CPU, and RAM as I'm using in my current build. It's a solid setup.

that V8 is a monster... never seen one in person but it looks like it could kill a puppy if you dropped it. I went with a Kraken X61 for CPU cooling. How does that V8 perform?

BET YOU CAN'T PLAY ALL THE GAMEZ ON 900000+ fps!!!

I love a common-sense build. That FX-8320 will crush in this application, sweet build for a purpose!

You know, we see big nasty $1k+ builds on here all the time (I'll be posting another before too long...), but this is just simple and effective. It's the PB&J of PC's. It's AMD. It's "non-glamorous" RAM. It's a build that says "screw you, RGB lighting!".

+1 for realism

"and possibly some games"... haha think you have that covered. Just don't try to play Crysis 3 on ultra 4k and expect 30+ fps... bet it'll get 10 though!

Super nice build

Slick build +1
