I understand where your coming from, but, I don't feel like spending more money upgrading it down the line when you could do it straight from the start, like get it right the first time if you know what I mean.

Well, the thing is, I really want a pc that will excel in 2017-2018 at ultra on newest games, I don't really know if the 1070 is enough for 1440 ultra but, I want to buy the best gpu for the money. I also really want a 144hz monitor because my friend has one and does it look beautiful. Thanks for the list though, plus, I want to spend 1600-1700 dollars. (I don't want to upgrade in the future if you know what I mean. This pc is also for streaming possibly, like csgo.

There was like a 1 fps drop in most games, plus, the Kaby Lakes only perform better when overclocked and I don't really want to overclock.

What you mean, most of the reviews showed that skylake was the better performer.

I didn't go for Kaby Lake because the performance in games is better on the skylake.

Sorry for not responding for so long, I have been checking out that keyboard and its incredible for the price. I think I might do that unless I find a deal on that keyboard. Thank you for the suggestion!

I kinda would like to stay with the 1070, mostly because this pc is for gaming. I want to game at 144hz and ultra for 2017-2018. But I feel like i would get the most out of my money if I went with a 1070 then 1080.

I might just use that build, thank you. Im glad you stayed with the 1070 though, im just gonna get the best gpu for the money, and play all the games for 2017-2018.

Just a quick question, why did you choose the RX 480 over the 1060? I've seen benchmarks but i'm not sure which one is better, i'm asking this because I really want to know which one is better.

Nothing uncompatable, if you are going to build this, I would prob get an i7 4700k cause why not if your spending around 2k, if your looking to save money, I would prob change motherboard to this one: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Q9Gj4D/asus-motherboard-z170a
