Hi nice build, i have a z97 maximus vii formula and have a MemOK button which is used to get over ram incompatibilities with the motherboard your z170 viii hero should have one to, it might be worth putting all sticks back in and locating the button on your board, with mine i have to press it until the led blinks but check your manual to see correct procedure for using yours, All the best.

Hi, h115i went in very easy on the pull out slider radiator mount, the ram clearance is pretty tight in the push/pull as u can see in the picture the fans are over the top of the ram and even in the standard 2 fan configure the fans hang over the top of the ram and it wouldn't work with taller ram like the trident x or corsair dominator so if u want to use the 280mm radiator you won't be able to use larger ram but if you choose to use the 240mm you should be fine with larger height ram sticks, at the moment I have got about 42mm of clearance behind the radiator.

Yeah probably worth holding on for kaby lake as with the new 14nm chip we should see a bigger step in performance.

Cheers, the second set of corsair fans I have put on the top were the af140's that came with the h115i, I wasn't originally going to use them and instead Was only going to do the thermaltake riing fans that matched with the others but whilst building realised I had the room for the second set so used them, If I had chosen to stick with the stock fans I probably wouldn't have bothered with the second set as your right wouldn't of been worth the extra money for the amount of cooling performance but I wanted it all matching.
